Providing the care you deserve

It may be hard to remember a time when anything other than COVID-19 came to mind when you thought of the hospital. And although our healthcare workers on the frontlines have certainly given this pandemic their all, hospital and emergency room care extend far beyond the coronavirus.

As we take on this new year with a health-oriented mindset, please take a moment to review this brief summary on emergency warning signs and the medical services we offer.

When to go to the ER

Sometimes it can be challenging to assess the seriousness of a situation when it comes to accidents and medical emergencies, but as the old saying goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

It’s especially important not to ignore serious warning signs such as difficulty breathing, random fainting, uncontrollable bleeding, prolonged vomiting, a fever over 102 degrees, sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg.

In addition, ten common reasons people take a trip to the ER include:

  1. Chest pains
  2. Shortness of breath
  3. Abdominal pain
  4. Toothache
  5. Broken bones and sprains
  6. Cuts and contusions
  7. Upper respiratory infection
  8. Skin infections or burns
  9. Headaches and migraines
  10. General pain

If you or a loved one starts experiencing any of the issues mentioned above, visit our facility for immediate care. In case of an emergency, call 911, and we also encourage you to save our number in your phone, 520-375-9111.
